August Update
So it has been a few months since I have updated the site with what I have been up too. This is a good sign.. it means I have been busy!
LIBELLUS was released on 1st June through GENEPOOL/UNIVERSAL MUSIC and celebrated on 3rd June at Cafe De Paris. Where I organised a festival of colourful and beautiful decadence and mayhem. With incredible performances from Empress Stah, Leo & Yam, Fran Landesman, Son Ver, Gwendolin Lamour, mischief from Bearded Kitten and Hunga Munga, and brilliant tunes from Trol 23 and Colin Greenwood from My Window Faces South.
We previewed a version of the BLACK SEAGULL video we had shot in wales. Which is now finished. Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make this happen.
In July I entered the Anthony Gormley 4th Plinth Project. I suffer from Vertigo so for me this was a very challenging a nerve wracking experience. Vertigo combined with rain and high winds…but I am glad I did it. Even though it was somewhat chaotic with an amp that was doing its best not to work!!
FOOTAGE OF TALLULAH ON THE PLINTH
July and August became months of muddy feet and dancing at all the festivals we played at. My favourite was PORT ELLIOT. I also met the very wonderful David Carter, who runs a beautiful night called 40 winks in East London. Where dressed in your pyjamas you are read to and lulled by songs and fine wines… great gig to play!! Next one for me is 7th October.
Two tracks from LIBELLUS have been remixed. Time Fades by MOJO FILTER which is being released with a remix of JEFFERSON AIROPLANES WHITE RABBIT. LOST IN THE MORNING has been remixed by GRIZLA and will be released digitally towards the end of september… details to follow..
My other important news is I have started writing for my next album.. Getting Libellus together and released took up so much time and energy that there has not been much time for writing but now that she is on her way, I have time again and songs are running out onto the paper..
