Latitude Review by Mark Doughty
So we move onto the Sunrise Arena easily my favourite at the Festival.Nestled deep in the woods it always provides my festival highlights, this year was no exception.Artists you should check out include The Joy Formidable,Clinic and The Do from the friday list more on The Joy Formidable later in the week as i secured an in depth interview with them after they packed the arena.Saturdays highlights for me was the infectious folk rock of Irish singer Wallis Bird certainly someone who i feel we shall hear more of and The Maybe’s? who i have posted …On Sunday i headed over early to the Arena to be serenaded by the wonderful talents of Tallulah Rendall she has the voice of an angel. You know the times when you are captivated instantly im sure her star will burn bright in the not too distant future.

If you go down to the woods today your sure of a big surprise…. I had my big surprise deep in the woods of the Latitude fetival where I found Tallulah Rendall performing her songs with her excellent band on the intimate sunrise arena stage… I had arrived sporting a hangover from the night before hoping to be soothed by some gentle harmless vocals, and left excited by having seemingly discovered a future star… She has one of the finest female voices I have ever heard… and her quality of voice is matched by the quality of her songs… I shall enjoy saying “I told you so” to friends and family when Tallulah is a household name, which I am sure will be very soon.
