- Forth in the series.
- This track was written about Patti Smith after I went to see her play at the Tate Modern, where she had organised a night to pay tribute to Robert Maplethorpe. She was amazing. I hadn’t written any new songs for ages and was feeling really frustrated and shit about it. She got up on stage, just her and her guitar and ranted, sang shouted at the audience. She was raw and honest and for me embodied everything a true musician should.
- So out came this song and then others followed and my stagnant moment in time passed. When Beshlie showed me this image it seemed perfect, in my mind all the little blue seeds became faces watching beauty.
